Steven received his B.B.A from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and was led to Christ through his roommates, members of Cru Ministries. Steven was very involved with the ministry and during his senior year he became the Cru Campus leader. He participated in an internship at Elmbrook Church in the Junior High Ministry and later earned his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. While at Trinity in Illinois, he began attending Willow Creek Community Church and eventually joined the staff. He held several roles at Willow Creek including: Director of Service Ministries, Human Resources re-organizations of various departments, and Operations Director for the “Promiseland” Ministry. For the past 15 years, he has worked full-time with the Global Leadership Network, fundraising and maintaining relationships with donors and affiliate churches. He worked as a consultant to various churches and Christian-owned businesses as clients around the Midwest.
